

Traffic stop leads to major methamphetamine and firearms seizure in Polk County
POLK COUNTY, Texas — What started as a routine traffic stop on Halloween night turned into a major narcotics bust and firearms seizure, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. On October 31, 2025, a Narcotics K9 Detective pulled over a vehicle for a violation of the Texas Transportation Code.
