KIRBYVILLE, TEXAS - On October 29th, 2025, at approximately 8:57 p.m., Deputy Gray and Kirbyville Officer Goings made contact with a suspicious vehicle located at Ellis Truck and Trailer Parts at 482 FM 363 in Kirbyville that was currently closed for business. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Matthew Gene Haskins, 44, of Kirbyville. While speaking with the driver, Deputy Gray had reason to believe that narcotics may be in the vehicle and asked for consent to search
