Obituary of Mary Ivy

December 8, 1945 - February 3, 2026

A Celebration of Mary Berryman Ivy’s Life, age 80, of Jasper, TX will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 6, 2026 at Stringer and Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper with burial following at Little Hope Cemetery in Jasper. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Mary died on February 3, 2026 at Jasper Memorial Hospital in Jasper, TX.

A native and lifelong resident of Jasper, Mary was a member of The Jasper Church of Christ and the Daughters of the Republic of Texas John Bevil Chapter of Jasper. She was a substitute teacher for Jasper ISD and Brookeland ISD. There was nothing that she loved more than spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles Ivy of Jasper, TX; sons, Charley Ivy of Jasper, TX and Ross Ivy and wife Lisa of Covington, LA; grandchildren, Dane Ivy and wife Krista, Zack Ivy and Casey, Shelby Ivy and Tyler Patterson; two great-grandchildren, James Ivy and Gianna Patterson.

Services are under the direction of Stringer and Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
