Obituary of Clara Bolton Adams

October 27, 1935 - January 29, 2026

Visitation for Clara Bolton Adams, age 90, of Jasper, Texas will be 9:00-11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper, Texas with Graveside Services to follow immediately at Zion Hill Cemetery.

Clara passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2026 at Jackson Hospital in Jackson, TN.

She was a native of Beaumont, Texas, former resident of Port Arthur, Texas and has been a resident of Jasper, Texas for the past seventy-five years.

She lived to be 90 years old doing it "her way". Clara was a Healthcare Worker, Labor and Delivery Nurse and Pharmacy Attendant.

Clara is survived by her daughters, Pamela Parker and husband Robert Schellin of Montana, Linda Masterson and husband Rick of Illinois, Penny Gorden and husband Bill of Nacogdoches, Texas and Lavona Fields of Tennessee; son, Albert Adams, Jr. and wife Rebecca of Jasper, Texas; brother, Douglas “Buddy” Chamberlain; sixteen grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis F. Bolton and Gracie Mummey Bolton; husband, A.V. “Red” Adams, Sr; daughter, Amanda Barnhill, granddaughter, Melinda Adams and grandson, Robert Allen Adams.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
