Deweyville High School Launches First Clinical Nursing Program; Five Seniors to Graduate With College Credentials Before Diplomas
Deweyville ISD just made district history. Five senior students — Austyn Addison, Emily Meyers, Braley Revere, Madison Clasby, and Rylee Moody — have been accepted as the first-ever Clinical Nursing cohort at Deweyville High School. Through a partnership with Lamar State College Orange (LSCO), the students will graduate in May 2026 with their Medical Assisting Certification, an industry-recognized credential typically earned after high school.
