One victim identified in Fridays fatal accident South of Buna

The Department of Public Safety has released the identity of one of the victims of the crash Friday night South of Kirbyville that has claimed at least two lives. Officials are awaiting a dental match on the second victim, believed to be a Kirbyville woman.
The driver of the Kia is identified as 29-year-old Anais Peralta of Marshall. Her condition is currently unknown. Her passenger is identified as an 8-year-old child who died in the accident.
This investigation remains ongoing and no further information available at this time.
