WILDFIRE ON POLK COUNTY/TYLER COUNTY BORDER - 3/21/25
VOLUNTARY EVACUATION
Polk & Tyler County responders and the Texas Forest Service are responding to an approximately 50-acre wildfire near E Caney Loop & Morell Rd on the Polk/Tyler County border. Persons residing near Morell Rd in Polk County are encouraged to evacuate as the fire is pushing towards Morell Rd. Follow the instruction of responders on scene as you evacuate.
Persons needing a place to evacuate to can go to the City of Corrigan Community Center at 100 W Front Street in Corrigan.
