West Sabine ISD is inviting the public to attend a free Mock Wellness Clinic tomorrow, Friday, July 25 at 10:00 a.m., held at West Sabine High School.
In partnership with Lamar University and Fairmount Family Practice, this event is designed to showcase the future of telehealth and telemedicine in rural communities. Visitors will get hands-on experience with virtual health tools like EKGs, ultrasounds, blood pressure, and heart rate monitoring — all at no cost.
This initiative is part of a broader effort to improve healthcare access by allowing students and staff to connect with providers directly from campus, helping to reduce missed time from class or work.
Location: West Sabine High School (enter through the front and proceed to the Tiger Gym)
Date & Time: Friday, July 25 | 10:00 a.m.
Contact: Shelby Lowe – shelby.lowe@westsabineisd.net - (409) 584-2525
Community members are encouraged to stop by, explore the technology, and support this important step toward improving rural healthcare access.
