Students from West Sabine ISD proudly represented their school and community at the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) Region III Conference held this past weekend in Waco, competing against students from across the region.
Among those students was Taylor Richardson, who earned 4th place in the Serving Up Success competitive event — an accomplishment that advances Richardson to the FCCLA State Conference later this year.

School officials said Richardson’s achievement reflects hours of preparation and a strong commitment to leadership and career-focused skills.
While other West Sabine FCCLA members did not place in their events, the students were praised for their professionalism, teamwork, and determination. Educators noted the group left Waco motivated and eager to return stronger next year.
West Sabine ISD also recognized Mrs. Regina McBride for her dedication to the program. McBride served as both an evaluator and chaperone during the conference, helping guide and support students throughout the weekend.
“Way to go, West Sabine FCCLA,” district officials said, applauding the students for representing their school with pride.
FCCLA is a national organization that helps students develop leadership skills while preparing for careers and real-world success.
