Jerrell Wayne Stanley, 54, of Buna, surrendered to Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Havard on Friday morning, November 7, 2025.
According to Sheriff Havard, Stanley arrived voluntarily at the Buna Sub-Courthouse after previously failing to report to law enforcement. A Felony Motion to Revoke Probation warrant had been issued on November 5, and deputies had been actively searching for him.
“He was taken into custody without incident,” Sheriff Havard said.
After surrendering, Stanley was transported to the Jasper County Jail, where he is being held on the probation revocation warrant.
This update closes the active search originally announced by the Sheriff’s Office earlier this week.
All individuals are presumed innocent of any new allegations unless proven guilty in a court of law.
