Vidor woman stopped in Evadale for blinker, arrested for possession of drugs

Wednesday evening at approximately 11:09 p.m, a Jasper County Sheriff’s Deputy noticed a driver who failed to signal for a turn. He made a traffic stop on the vehicle on Cr 877 in Evadale.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as 61-year-old Pamela Jackson, of Vidor. During the traffic stop, the deputy noticed methamphetamines in plain view.
During the investigation, Jackson also admitted to possessing 2 syringes and 2 bags of methamphetamines on her person.
Jackson was brought to the Jasper County Jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance (F3) and Tampering with Physical Evidence (F3).
Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Havard wants to remind the public that Jackson is innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
