We deleted our initial post of this system in lieu of a more explanatory view of this evenings storm.

Severe Thunderstorm nearing Pineland with winds of 70 mph and nearly 2 inch sized hail continues moving southeast at nearly 25 mph. Severe Thunderstorm Warning possible in the Lakes Area shortly.

Severe thunderstorms over East Texas are quickly moving Southeast at 25 mph. High resolution modeling shows them arriving in the Lakes Area of Southeast Texas. Eta roughly 8 pm Jasper and Burkeville.

Nearly 1000 lightning strikes within the past 15 minutes, hail and winds...certainly severe. Moving south at about 25 mph. Likely to reach the Lakes Area and then begin weakening well north of the Triangle.
