Two vehicle accident near Jasper sent one to hospital for non-life-threatening injuries

Around the beginning of the storms Wednesday afternoon, a two vehicle accident, Northwest of Jasper sent one to the hospital with minor injuries.
The accident happened on June 11th on Hwy 63 west, near County Road 173 at 2:01 p.m.. The Texas Department of Public Safety Media Sergeant Shana Clark said, "A Toyota Tundra was traveling west on S.H. 63, followed by a Chrysler PT Cruiser. It is reported that the Toyota slowed to make a turn onto C.R. 173 and was rear ended by the Chrysler."
According to the report, the driver of the Toyota, identified as 56-year-old Russell Lane of Arizona, was taken to Jasper Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Chrysler, identified as 30-year-old Joe Cerna of Jasper, was not injured.
Hatches Towing towed the disabled vehicle.
