Sweeny police have confirmed a connection between two former members of the Sweeny Fire Department who are facing multiple felony charges related to the alleged sexual abuse of children.
According to Sweeny Police, investigators have determined that Timothy Webb, former Sweeny Fire Chief, and Coleman Pollock, a former volunteer firefighter, were neighbors and are now under investigation for potential involvement in related criminal activity involving minors.
Charges and Arrests
Webb was arrested on January 23, 2026, and is currently being held without bond. He faces 13 felony charges connected to alleged sexual abuse involving five children, according to law enforcement.
Pollock was arrested in September 2025 on charges related to a December 4, 2024 offense. He is charged with three counts of sexual assault of a child and three counts of indecency with a child. Pollock was released on bond on November 21, 2025, and remains out on bond at this time.
On January 30, 2026, Sweeny police confirmed investigators are examining possible links between Webb and Pollock, including allegations that the two men may have exchanged explicit images involving victims.
How the Investigation Began
The case originated in late 2025, when family members of a young victim reported inappropriate interactions involving Webb to the Sweeny Police Department.
Sweeny Police Chief Brad Caudle stated that once the allegations were reported, his department launched a coordinated investigation with the Child Advocacy Center, which helped develop the case against Webb.
As investigators interviewed victims and reviewed evidence, the scope of the investigation expanded significantly.
Victims and Allegations
Authorities say the alleged victims range in age from 9 to 15 years old and include close family friends and members of Webb’s own family.
One mother of two alleged victims told investigators that her daughters disclosed months before the police report that they were being sexually exploited and forced to perform sexual acts in exchange for money, allegedly ranging from $50 to $100 per incident.
Following Webb’s arrest, investigators began identifying connections to Pollock, leading to the confirmation released by police on Friday.
Additional Arrest Involving Webb’s Wife
Police confirmed that Webb’s wife was arrested in Jackson County after allegedly fleeing with his stepchildren and cutting off communication following Webb’s arrest. She was later transferred back to Brazoria County, where she faces a charge of interfering with child custody. Authorities have not alleged that she is involved in the sexual abuse investigation.
Ongoing Investigation
Sweeny police emphasized that the investigation remains active and ongoing. Authorities believe additional victims may come forward, and further charges are possible as evidence continues to be reviewed.
Anyone with information related to this case is encouraged to contact the Sweeny Police Department or Brazoria County Crime Stoppers.
