Tri-Community VFD Extinguishes Fully Involved Storage Building Fire on FM 252

JASPER COUNTY, Texas — Just before 2:30 p.m. Monday afternoon, Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the 7600 block of Farm-to-Market Road 252 for a fully involved storage building fire.


The fire was close to spreading into nearby wooded areas, prompting a quick response from firefighters. Tri-Community VFD arrived on scene and was able to extinguish the fire before it spread to neighboring homes or the surrounding woods.



The storage building was declared a total loss. No injuries were reported.


The cause of the fire has not been released.
