WOODVILLE, Texas — Concerned Citizens of Tyler County will host a community Town Hall with Texas Legislature candidate Paulette Carson on Monday, November 10, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at The Emporium Stage in downtown Woodville.
The event is free and open to the public.
Carson, a conservative candidate seeking a seat in the Texas Legislature, plans to engage directly with attendees on issues she says are critical to East Texans — including property tax reform, border security, water rights, and the protection of rural communities from federal overreach.
Carson is a rancher, business owner, and longtime community advocate. She and her husband, Charlie, have operated a heavy equipment sales and refurbishing business for more than 30 years and have raised cattle within the Davy Crockett National Forest for over two decades. Carson has served as Vice Chair of the Trinity County Republican Party, a delegate for the Republican Party of Texas, and is the founder of Voices 4 Special Needs – East Texas, a nonprofit supporting families of children with special needs. She also founded Beautiful Gate Translations, a ministry-focused translation organization working with women in Eastern Europe.
In a statement leading into the town hall, Carson said her campaign centers on protecting East Texas families and values.
“Texas isn’t just where I live — it’s my home, my heritage, and my responsibility to protect,” Carson said. “I’m running to ensure the voices of East Texans are heard loud and clear in Austin.”
The forum will include a Q&A session where residents can ask questions and discuss concerns regarding state-level policy impacts on East Texas communities.
