Three from Jasper and Brookeland arrested on drug charges in Sabine County

BROOKELAND, TX-
On the evening of June 24th, Deputies from the Sabine County Sheriff's Office were conducting a fugitive investigation in the 300 block of Mott Road in Brookeland.
As Deputies approached the residence, they noticed a white female inside actively smoking methamphetamine through a glass pipe. Deputies secured the residence and detained all three individuals inside.
A search warrant was obtained for the residence and a total of 22 grams of methamphetamines were recovered, as well as marijuana, scales, firearms and packaging material indicating the subject were or had been involved in the sale and delivery of narcotics.

51-year-old James Phillip Ebarb of Brookeland was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon and Possession of Marijuana.

46-year-old Teresa Ann White of Jasper was charged with Tampering with Physical Evidence and Possession of a Controlled Substance which she had attempted to conceal inside her 'body' while hiding in the bathroom.

54-year-old Janet Denise Letney of Brookeland was charged with Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penal Group 1 more than four gram but less than 200 grams.
All subjects are currently booked into the Sabine County Jail awaiting the setting of bonds on those charges.
