Three Arrested After Theft in Progress; Felony Warrant Issued for Fourth Suspect

Goodrich, Texas (Polk County) – On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, Polk County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a theft in progress at a property in the Goodrich area. When deputies arrived, they located three individuals on scene and immediately began investigating.
Due to multiple thefts reported from this same property over the weekend, detectives from the Polk County Criminal Investigations Division also responded.
Deputies arrested the following suspects:
Christi Coleman
Lonnie Long
Eddie Doolan
All three were charged with:
Burglary of a Building
Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity
During the investigation, detectives developed evidence linking a fourth suspect, James “JJ” Grubbs, to the burglary. A tractor and related implements previously reported stolen from the property were located and recovered.

Grubbs was not located at the scene and now has two active felony warrants for:
Burglary of a Building
Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity
This remains an active investigation and additional charges are possible.
