The Obituary of Kathleen Caldwell Lively

April 10, 1934 - May 20, 2025

A Celebration of Kathleen Caldwell Lively’s Life, age 91, of Jasper, Texas, will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 24, 2025 at the Jasper Church of Christ with burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Jasper. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

Kathleen passed away on May 20, 2025 at Hospice in the Pines in Lufkin, Texas.

A native and lifelong resident of Jasper, Kathleen was retired a teacher’s aide, having served with the Jasper Independent School District for over 20 years and was an active member of the Jasper Church of Christ. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Linda Hougesen and husband James of Newton, Texas; son/grandson, Bobby Glenn and wife Tammy of Spring Branch, Texas; bonus daughter, Tricia Moss of Spring Branch, Texas; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Lively of Copperas Cove, Texas, Bobby W. Lively of Huntington, Texas and Fred Biscamp of Jasper, Texas; sisters-in-law, Eloise Stephens of Jasper, Texas, Callie Caldwell of Jasper, Texas and Norma Lively of Euless, Texas; four grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by parents, Earl Caldwell and Lila McQueen Caldwell; husband of over 25 years, Douglas Lively; son, Jackie Lively grandson, Todd Lively; sister, Irma Jean Chapman and brothers, James Caldwell and John Caldwell.
