The Obituary of Charlotte Ann Hilliard

A Graveside service to celebrate the life of Charlotte Ann Hilliard, age 79, of Jasper, Texas, will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Weeks Chapel Cemetery in Newton County.

Charlotte passed away on June 6, 2025 at Harbor Hospice in Jasper, Texas.

Charlotte was a lifelong resident of Jasper, Texas. She loved square dancing, gardening, flowers, sewing and music. Most of all, Charlotte loved spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her Golden Girls.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, James Martin Hilliard of Harrisburg, Texas; son, James Gabriel “Gabe” Hilliard and wife Jessica Stovall Hilliard of Kingston Springs, Tennessee; daughter, Brittaney Hilliard Lott and husband Keith Lott of Cypress, Texas; grandchildren, Jessica Lott Jones and husband Chris Jones, Megan Lott, Ashley Lott, Payden Hilliard and wife Chloe, and Audrey Hilliard; great-grandchildren, Juliette, Lincoln, Brooklyn and Carrington.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Brittian and Pearl Anderson; father, Raden Boyd and mother Merlene Anderson.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
