Good afternoon folks. A low pressure trough over south Texas will lift an axis of moisture across the area on Friday into Saturday. With that comes a Marginal risk of severe weather and a Slight Risk for excessive rainfall on Friday. A widespread 1 - 3" is likely, with isolated locations receiving up to 7" where persisting thundershowers linger.
