At around 11 pm Monday night, Jasper Police were called out to investigate suspicious activity at the Kubota dealership in Jasper.
Jasper Police Chief Garrett Foster said, "The security system detected an individual wearing a red jacket on the property. Due to their proximity, officers were able to respond quickly. Upon arrival, they discovered a breach in the pipe fence and observed fresh footprints in the area".
A K9 unit was requested and promptly arrived on scene. K9 Mac initiated a track, which indicated the suspect or suspects fled toward the Old 8 North area. No arrests were made.
Foster added, "We extend our thanks to Sgt. Fowler and K9 Mac for their swift and professional response".
