Single-vehicle accident Saturday sent one to St. E. For treatment of life-threatening injuries

This past Saturday at 1:45 pm, the Kirbyville Volunteer Fire Department was called out to a single-vehicle accident on Cr 408 near Cr 413 near Kirbyville.

The Department of Public Safety Media Sergeant Shana Clark said, "The preliminary crash investigation indicates that at approximately 1:45 p.m., a 2002 Honda Accord was traveling west. It is reported that the driver traveled off the road to the left and overturned."

The driver of the Honda, identified as 27-year-old Jodee Chesson of Kirbyville, was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
