Shepherd Man Jailed on Five Felony Drug and Firearm Charges

SAN JACINTO COUNTY, Texas — Deputies with the San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Division executed a search warrant in the Shepherd area, resulting in the arrest of a local man on multiple felony charges.
According to the sheriff’s office, Mirro McZeal was taken into custody following the search and transported to the San Jacinto County Jail without incident.
McZeal faces the following charges:
Three counts of Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Penalty Group 1)
Two counts of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon
Authorities did not release additional details regarding the investigation or the items seized during the search.
As with all criminal cases, all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
