7 Day Forecast

12News Meteorologist Patrick Vaughn

Upper-level high pressure has moved away from Texas with a west-north flow aloft developing. This will likely drag upper-level disturbances into the state over the next week. By mid-week, an upper-level trough of low pressure will develop further enhancing the rain chances. Late in the week, the trough will move into East Texas keep rain chances locally elevated. Lows will be in the 70s with highs cooling into the middle 80s. 2-3 inches is expected with higher totals quite possible. Rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected with best rain chances Tuesday and Wednesday.
