Sergeants Wade and Christopher Named JCSO Employees of the Month

JASPER COUNTY, Texas — The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office has recognized two of its leaders for their dedication and service. Sergeant Cody Christopher and Sergeant Chris Wade have been named Employees of the Month for August.

Sergeant Christopher, a 20-year law enforcement veteran, joined JCSO in March 2025. Sergeant Wade, with 17 years of experience, has served with the agency since March 2023.

“Sergeant Christopher and Sergeant Wade are our patrol sergeants. They are both directly responsible for our patrol operations and their jobs require a great deal of their time, even when they’re off duty,” Sheriff Chuck Havard said. “They ensure that our personnel are properly trained and coordinate daily activities for our deputies. Their guidance, leadership, and oversight make our agency more professional, effective, and accountable. Jasper County is blessed to have both of these men, and I’m extremely thankful for the sacrifices they and their families make on behalf of our Sheriff’s Office.”

Sheriff Havard added that he remains proud of the entire staff at JCSO, noting, “Every job at our office is important, and I can’t thank our employees enough for their hard work and dedication.”
