JASPER COUNTY / NEWTON COUNTY — The reward for information leading to the recovery of Josh Larkin’s remains has been increased to $15,000, according to an announcement made Wednesday by Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Havard, and Newton County Sheriff Colton Havard.
Larkin has been missing since November 17, 2022. While four individuals have been arrested and charged in connection with the case, ongoing searches have not yet resulted in the recovery of Larkin’s remains.
“We are extremely committed to finding Josh’s body,” said Sheriff Chuck Havard. “We also believe there are individuals in this community who have information regarding the location of Josh’s remains.”
Sheriff Colton Havard echoed that commitment, emphasizing the importance of public cooperation.
“This reward is a significant amount of money, and we are hopeful someone will do the right thing and give us the information that gives Josh’s family a little bit of closure,” he said.
Officials stated the increased reward has been made possible through the support of Texas EquuSearch, along with private donors and other stakeholders involved in the case.
Authorities urge anyone with any information related to Josh Larkin’s disappearance or the possible location of his remains to come forward immediately.
