Rayburn Resort to Host The Junior Tour Golf Event September 13

BROOKELAND, Texas — Rayburn Resort is set to welcome The Junior Tour powered by Under Armour to East Texas on Saturday, September 13, 2025. The event will tee off at 2:00 p.m. and showcase some of the region’s top young golf talent.

The Junior Tour gives boys and girls, ages 6–18, the opportunity to compete in a series of nine-hole matches across East Texas golf courses. Players compete for championship medals and a chance to advance to the National Championship, held at the PGA National Resort and Spa in February 2026.

This fall’s East Texas region schedule includes tournaments in Brookeland, Trinity, Livingston, Gladewater, Bullard, and Lufkin. Rayburn Resort will serve as the opening venue, making this stop especially significant for area golf fans.

Organizers encourage the community to come out and support these young athletes as they begin their journey in competitive golf.

“We’re excited to bring The Junior Tour to Rayburn Resort and showcase the incredible talent of junior golfers in our region,” said event organizers. “This is a great opportunity for families and the community to enjoy an afternoon of golf and support the next generation of players.”

Spectators are welcome, and admission is free.
