Radar shows the band of heavy rainfall slowly shifting east. Rainfall rates of over 2.50" per hour in spots along the line are occurring. During the past three hours 2 to near 3.50" has fallen from near Beaumont to along the Neches R.

In addition to the rains currently over Southeast Texas, another cluster of showers and storms, currently nearing Houston, will likely reach Southeast Texas this evening.
