The Polk County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division, working alongside the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division, continued their ongoing investigation into the illegal sale of narcotics at 140 Pine Valley Road in Livingston on November 5, 2025.

This operation follows the September 30, 2025 enforcement action at the same residence, where twelve individuals were arrested for possession of a controlled substance, Penalty Group 1, greater than four grams and less than 200 grams.

During continued surveillance, detectives observed a silver SUV leaving the residence — a vehicle previously seen at the location on multiple occasions. A traffic stop was conducted, identifying the driver as Lonnie Crew Jr., and the passenger as Nicholas McDaniel, both of Livingston.

A probable cause search of the vehicle revealed approximately one-half ounce of methamphetamine and baggies commonly used for narcotics distribution inside the center console. Both men were arrested and charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance, Penalty Group 1 (4–200 grams), a first-degree felony.

Upon arrival at the Polk County Jail, McDaniel was found to have concealed an additional five grams of methamphetamine and a glass pipe used for smoking the drug in his underwear. He was additionally charged with:

  • Possession of a controlled substance, Penalty Group 1 (4–200 grams)

  • Prohibited substance in a correctional facility

All three charges are felonies under Texas law.

Based on new intelligence gathered, detectives obtained a search warrant for the residence, issued by Justice of the Peace, Precinct 4, Jamie Richardson. During execution of the warrant, James Frazier, the homeowner, was located and found in possession of approximately 25 grams of methamphetamine. Another occupant, Autumn Hebert, was also found in possession of less than one gram of methamphetamine.

  • James Frazier was charged with possession of a controlled substance, Penalty Group 1 (4–200 grams).

  • Autumn Hebert was charged with possession of a controlled substance, Penalty Group 1 (<1 gram).

Frazier had previously been warned after the September arrests that continued narcotics activity at his property would trigger asset forfeiture proceedings. In keeping with that warning, detectives will be filing an affidavit of seizure and intended forfeiture for the residence to protect the Pine Valley neighborhood from further criminal activity.

Sheriff Byron Lyons and Chief Deputy Andy Lowrie emphasized their continued commitment to eradicating illegal narcotics from Polk County. Both said that every available resource will be used to safeguard the citizens of the community and curb the spread of dangerous drugs.
