Pickup truck left hanging over Sam Rayburn Dam. Driver, nowhere to be found

Sunday night at around 11:55 pm, a 911 call went out regarding a 2015 Chevrolet pickup that had crashed on RR 255 near Cr 218 on the Sam Rayburn Dam. The truck was left hanging precariously over the edge of the Dam, but the driver was nowhere to be seen.

According to the DPS report, the driver struck the concrete barrier with its right side, spun around and struck the barrier with its back side and drove over the top of it.

After the crash, the driver left the scene and as of 5:00 pm Monday, has not been located.
