Orange County fugitive arrested in Newton County school zone

On March 4, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Sheriff Colton Havard was monitoring traffic in the Deweyville School zone.

Following a traffic stop, a fugitive was arrested for a possession of a controlled substance warrant out of Orange County.

The fugitive was identified as Timothy Rogers. Rogers was taken to the Orange County Jail after being turned over to the Orange County Sheriff's Deputies.
