One vehicle accident resulted in no injuries

At 3:59 pm Wednesday Beech Grove Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a single vehicle accident on State Highway 63 West at CR 173.

Beech Grove Fire Chief James Gunter said, "Arriving units found a contractor barricade truck had ran off the roadway coming to rest on top of a box culvert where Indian Creek crosses under the highway. The vehicle was precariously hanging off of one side of the culvert."

There were no injuries.

The roadway was closed for almost an hour while Jasper Xxon Towing And Recovery removed the vehicle.

Beech Grove VFD responded with Engine 11 and 5 firefighters.
