Oil Well Fire in Tyler County Handled Quickly

Tyler County ESD # 4 - Warren Fire & Rescue was toned out at 8:31 Thursday morning for what was reported as a brush fire off of CR 1700.

The First Responders arrived on scene at 8:45 and the first Brush Truck arrived at 8:50.

Once on scene, responding units realized it wasn't a brush fire, but an equipment fire at an oil well site. Thankfully it was quickly extinguished.

A department spokesperson said, "Thank you to all our firefighters and thank you to Sonny Davis for your quick response time."
