Obituary of William Algie Tuttle

August 27, 1982 - July 17, 2025

William Algie Tuttle, 42, of Buna died Thursday, July 17, 2025 near Anahuac, Texas.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am Monday, July 21, at First Baptist Church in Buna with burial at Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Buna. Visitation will be from 3-6 pm Sunday at the church.

Algie was born August 27, 1982 in Longview, Texas to William Dale Tuttle and Carolyn (Byrd) Tuttle. He had lived in Buna 16 years and was an overhead crane technician.

He is survived by his wife, Amy Tuttle of Buna; daughters, Sadie Marie Tuttle and Gracie Marie Tuttle, of Buna; parents, Bill and Carolyn Tuttle of Longview; siblings, William Travis Tuttle of Gilmer; Anna Carol Harland of Omaha, TX; William Dale Tuttle, Jr. of Gladewater; Teresa Carol Ann Bonner of Jefferson, TX; William Ronald Tuttle of Longview; and Reta Carol Ann Cato of Longview.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, William Travis and Reta Byrd; Algie and Joy Tuttle; and a brother, William Jospeh Tuttle.
