Obituary of Virginia LeeAnn Foxworth

November 24, 1978 - January 24, 2026

Virginia LeeAnn Foxworth is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Allen Wheeler and Janet Sue Wheeler, who she loved and cared for until their passing. She is survived by her loving husband and partner of eight years, Bert Foxworth, her son Kade Overstreet and his spouse Olyvia Overstreet and their two children Kyzr and Lorelai Overstreet, her daughter Kenasyn Overstreet and her partner Enrique de la Cruz, step daughter Hailey Gerald and her spouse Colt Gerald, step son Landen Foxworth and his spouse Georgiana Gillis and their son Beaux Foxworth, and step daughter Natalie Foxworth.

LeeAnn was such a loving mother and grandmother, and there are many others who called her mom. She loved helping others, and that carried into her career of being a nurse for 26 years. She cared for people of all ages, from children to the elderly. She inspired other nurses and was beloved by all of her patients.

LeeAnn loved to travel, whether it was to the top of the mountains or to shore of the sea. The beach was her happy place and her favorite place to be. On a warm sunny day, you could bet that her and Bert were walking down the shoreline looking for shark teeth and sea glass.

LeeAnn was put on this earth by God to spread love, and she did exactly that. She was loving, kind, selfless, and always put others above herself. She left her mark on this world and will be forever missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 6 pm at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Chance Sims officiating. A Nurse Honor Guard ceremony will be conducted to honor LeeAnn at the end of the service. A time to visit with LeeAnn's family will be Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 4 pm until 6 pm at the funeral home.
