Obituary of Tommy Lloyd Rucker

August 8, 1957 - January 19, 2026

Tommy Lloyd Rucker, 68, of Mauriceville died Tuesday, January 19, 2026 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

Memorial service will be held 10 :00 am Tuesday, January 27, at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Buna. Visitation will begin at 9 am prior to service.

Tommy was born August 8, 1957 in Port Arthur to Charles and Margaret (Jenkins) Rucker and had lived in Mauriceville 14 years, He was a retired carpenter.

He is survived by his wife, Angela Rucker of Mauriceville; children, Ryan Porter of Mauriceville; Blake Castillo and Sabrina of Mauriceville; and Carley Porter of Nederland; a brother, Grady Rucker and Marla of Groves; a niece, Maegan Rucker of Baytown; and grandchildren, Raegan Porter, Kayden Porter, Steven Porter, Kennedy Porter and Violet Castillo.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Larry Rucker and Jerry Rucker.
