Obituary of Talisa Annette Tucker

August 22, 1970 — September 17, 2025

Lisa Tucker, 55, of Jasper passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Brookeland United Pentecostal Church at 1:30 p.m. with interment to follow at Weeks Chapel Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the church.

Lisa was born in Kirbyville, Texas to Carl Shaver and Deltha McClelland Ling on August 22, 1970. A life-long resident of Jasper, she was a hard worker who loved spending time in the outdoors hunting, fishing, and camping. A devoted Christian, she loved reading her Bible daily, but most importantly she loved her grandbabies. She looked forward to spending time with them and loving on them.

She is survived by her parents Deltha & Lonnie Ling of Bronson and father Carl Junior Shaver of Jasper; significant other Andy Dale Newman of Jasper; daughter Maranda Adkins of Dickinson; sisters Carla Faye Behan of Zavalla, Tracy Ann Lewis & husband Bobby of Zavalla, Sandy Clark & husband Jack of Brookeland, and Stephanie Capp of Louisiana; as well as her grandchildren Maya Adkins and Ford Garcia.
