Obituary of Shirley Jean McKee

Shirley Jean McKee, 55, of Woodville, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2025 at HCA Houston Health Care in Kingwood, Texas.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

Shirley was born June 20, 1970 to James Ellie and Betty Sue Walls Holder in Guntersville, Alabama. She had lived in Woodville for the past 16 years having come from Douglas, Georgia. She was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Colmesneil.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Betty Holder; brother, Ricky Holder; sister, Kathy Holder; and father-in-law, Delbert Earl McKee.

She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Robert McKee of Woodville; mother-in-law, Judy McKee of Woodville; stepsons, Justen McKee of Woodville, Dusten McKee of Sydney, MT, and Branden McKee of Woodville; niece, Tammy Collum of Alabama; and 6 grandchildren.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Woodville, Texas.
