Sherry Lynn Hood, 65 of Call passed away Friday, February 20, 2026, at Harbor Hospice in Jasper.

Graveside service will be 2:00 pm, Monday February 23, 2026, at Davis cemetery in Beulah Springs. A visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, prior to the service at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville.

Born February 24, 1960, in Beaumont, she worked as a physical therapist.

She is survived by her children, Hope Durham and Brian of Jasper, Jared Downing and Kayla of Huntington, James Downing and Leah of Magnolia Springs, Steven Howard and Laura of Conroe; parents, Archie and Janet Hood of Call; brother, Archie Hood, Jr. and Misty of Honey Grove; sisters, Susie Hood and Ed James of Spring, Sabrina Glenn and George of Kirbyville; grandchildren, Drew, Breanne, Hunter, Blayne, Jameson, Jaxson, Emma, Cole, Faith, Marley, and Max; great grandchildren, Axtyn, Acen, Wesley, Ava, Tailor, Patrick; nieces and nephews, William, Brad, Gus, Ellie, Lily, Maci, Makayla, Coty.
