Obituary of Sherry Kimball

October 30, 1948 - October 13, 2025

Sherry Kimball, 76, of Colmesneil, Texas passed away Monday, October 13, 2025 at Harbor Hospice in Jasper, Texas.

A Celebration of Life service will be held for Sherry at a later date.

Sherry was born October 30, 1948 to John and Thelma Wingate in Lufkin, Texas. She was a native of the Houston area, but lived the last 6 years in Colmesneil. Sherry was a member of the Katy Baptist Church in Colmesneil where she enjoyed being a part of the Katy Ladies. For many years Sherry managed apartment complexes in the Houston area and beach rental properties in the Galveston area.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Tee and Thelma Mae Wingate; her husband of 43 years, Ronny Kimball; daughter, Shelly Kimball; brothers, J.R. Wingate, Robert Wingate, Jerry Wingate and Jesse Wingate.

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Sheffield and husband, Bubba of Colmesneil, Kelly Faulkner and husband, Kevin of Waco, and Ronnie Smiley and husband, James of Colmesneil; brother, Paul Wingate of Onalaska; grandchildren, Kara Stewart, Kayli Swindall, Krista Scarbrough and husband, Dustin, Tiffany Graham and husband, Jared, Joseph Sheffield, Joshua Sheffield and wife, Lesli, Aubra Kimball, Devon Horace and wife, Ali, and R.J. Horace; and great grandchildren, Amara, Merak, Cooper, Jacob, Jace, Raylin, Kayden, Jaxon, Leah, Kylee, Gracelynn, Anabel, Trinity, Ronin, James, Camila and Eliana.
