Obituary of Richard Darrel Baxter

July 16, 1970 - November 15, 2025

Richard Darrel "Ricky" Baxter, 55, of Buna died Saturday, November 15, 2025 at his home.

Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Friday, November 21, at Evadale Pentecostal Church with burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am Friday at the church. Services are under the direction of Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Buna.

Ricky was born July 16, 1970 in Beaumont, Texas to Everitt and Pat (McNeil) Baxter. He was a former resident of Lumberton and had lived in Buna 5 years. He was a retired Foster Care Therapeutic Services worker.

He is survived by his mother, Pat Baxter of Buna; brothers, Troy Baxter and Dawn of Cadillac, Michigan; Michael Baxter and Sherryl of Buna; and Randall Baxter of Bercley, California; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins,

He is preceded in death by his father, Everitt Victor Baxter; and brothers Rocky Lynn Baxter and Patrick Victor Baxter.
