Obituary of Pete Stark

Pete Stark, 88 of Kirbyville passed away Thursday, October 16, 2025 at his home.

Funeral service will be 11 am, Monday October 20, 2025 at Church of Christ in Kirbyville with burial at Davis Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 am prior to service.

Born September 21, 1937 to George Robert Stark and Georgia Mae (Dougharty) in Fawil, Texas he retired as an operator with the paper mill.

He is survived by wife, Cynthia Stark of Kirbyville; children, Wendy Ford and Larry of Kirbyville, Daphne Gordan and Scott of Michigan, Troy Stark and Denise of Kirbyville; extended children, Joey Richardson and Barbara, Claude Richardson and Teresa, Tommy Richardson and Patricia; grandchildren; Lance Ford and Kelsey, Shea Rueda and Ben, Ciera Gordan, Zachary Gordan and Dylan, Emilea Gilbert and Jacob, Chloe Stark; extended grandchildren, Melissa Zeller and Steven, Ashley Gray and Chance, Amber Simmons and Justin, Justin Richardson and Tirzah, Allison Harris and Travis, Jeff Richardson and Natasha, Robert Richardson, Caroline Tranter and Ben, Elizabeth Schwebke and Justin; great grandchildren, Addie, Elken, Jamie, Izzie, Sofie; numerous extended great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Peggy Stark; nine brothers and sisters.
