Obituary of Patsy Harvey

January 18, 1941 - September 26, 2025

Patsy Harvey, 84, of Woodville, passed away Friday, September 26, 2025 at Harbor Hospice in Jasper, Texas.

Visitation will begin 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at Dickerson Cemetery in San Augustine, Texas. Officiating will be Brother Brandon Golden.

Patsy was born January 18, 1941 to Raymond and Irene Cameron in Deadwood, Texas and was a graduate of Warren High School. She was a member of the Spurger Community Church where she was involved in the Ladies Fellowship. She was a longtime resident of Woodville and retired as a cook with the Woodville ISD Cafeteria Department. Patsy enjoyed reading the Bible and sewing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Irene Cameron; husband of 36 years, Johnie Harvey; and brothers, Allen Cameron, Raymond Cameron and Doyle Cameron.

She is survived by her son, Johnie Harvey, Jr. and wife, Tonya of Call; daughter, Charlene Jones and husband, Clinton of Woodville; and a host of other family and friends.

Memorials may be made by planting a tree in her memory.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Woodville, Texas.
