Obituary of Pansy Laverne Whitehead

Pansy Laverne Whitehead, 86, of Buna died Friday, December 19, 2025 at Spanish Trails in Silsbee, Texas.

Graveside service will be 12:00 noon on Saturday, December 27, at Antioch Cemetery in Buna under the direction of Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Buna.

Born May 28, 1939 in Jasper County, Texas to Richard and Nannie Thelma (McCleod) Daniels, she was a lifelong resident of Buna.

She is survived by her children, Roy Whitehead, Jr. and wife Kay and Elizabeth Whitehead Byers, both of Buna; grandchildren, Trey Whitehead and Amanda; Tyler Whitehead and Shae; Ryan Rauwerda and Nikki; Blake Rauwerda; and Dane Byers; great grandchildren, Reagan Rauwerda, Blaine Rauwerda, Rhett Whitehead and Sage Whitehead.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ed Whitehead; sister, Ramona Marshall; and brother Jimmy Daniels.
