Obituary of Mike Roebuck

December 5, 1960 - October 4, 2025

A Celebration of Mike Roebuck’s Life, age 64, of Jasper, Texas, will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 13, 2025 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper, Texas with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper, Texas. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Mike passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, Texas surrounded by his loving family.

A former resident of Brookeland, Texas, Mike had been a resident of Jasper, Texas for over 40 years, he was a graduate of Brookeland High School and a lineman for Newtron of Nederland, Texas before retiring in January 2022. Mike enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and barbequing. Mike was a member of IBEW Local No. 2286 and held dual membership with both the DeWitt Clinton Masonic Lodge # 29 AF-AM in Jasper, Texas and the Brookeland Masonic Lodge #935 AF-AM in Brookeland, Texas.

Mike is survived by his mother, Annie Merle Roebuck of Brookeland, Texas; wife of 5 ½ years, Sheila Roebuck of Jasper, Texas; sisters, Sharon Henslee of Lumberton, Texas and Rhonda Rasa of Brookeland, Texas; step-daughters, Christina Whitehead and husband Michael of Burkeville, Texas, Deidra Lawson of Beaumont, Texas and Cassandra Johnson and husband Byron of Beaumont, Texas; his twelve grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and family friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sonny Roebuck.
