Obituary of Mary Teresa Fountain

August 30, 1965 — December 8, 2025

Mary “Teresa” Fountain, 60, of Jasper passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025 at her residence. A Celebration of Life Reception will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Shultz Funeral Home.

A native and lifelong resident Jasper she was born on August 30, 1965 to Johnny & Clara Kelemen. Teresa loved being outdoors and working in her vegetable garden. She loved canning and shelling peas and just being able to provide for her family and friends. She is survived by her mother Clara Kelemen; husband Tommie Fountain; sons Johnny Fountain, Joshua Fountain, and Brian Fountain; daughters Mary Kay Fountain, Shelly Vaught, and Rachel Townsend. She is preceded in death by her father Johnny Kelemen, brother "Little" Johnny Kelemen, sisters Debbie Lillie and Kathy Blank.
