Obituary of Martha Johnson

May 27, 1942 - January 12, 2026

Martha Jean Johnson, Born May 27, 1942 passed away on January 12, 2026 due to extended illness.

Martha was born in Amory, MS to Horace Johnson and Banks Johnson. Her parents were farmers in Smithville, MS area where she attended school.

She has two daughters who live in Texas area along with several grandchildren. Martha enjoyed her furry friends as well as her potted vegetables. She always enjoyed making what she called trash and sharing with friends and family.

She loved those who were her care givers as her health failed. Dyann Cole, Renee Cauley, Cathy Chaney and many others around her sharing her life. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her and loved her.

Martha Joe was preceded in death by Brothers Bobby Johnson (Wife Charlene), David Johnson and is survived by her brother Ralph Johnson living in Titusville, Florida with his wife Shirley Johnson.
