Margaret Elizabeth Haralson, 96, of Spurger, passed away January 13, 2026.

She was born in Hicksbaugh, Texas, to Leon and Laura Bennett. She worked as a nurse in the healthcare industry up until her early 80’s. She was proud of the work she did, caring for people with compassion and support. Margaret had a passion for quilting and gave many of her quilts to her family, who cherish them. One of her greatest enjoyments was her friends, who kept her young with travel and laughter.
