Lois LaVerne West, 93 of Call passed away Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Avalon Nursing Home in Kirbyville.

Funeral service will be 3 pm, Sunday November 16, 2025 at Call Junction Baptist Church with burial at Trout Creek Cemetery. Visitaion will begin at 2 pm prior to service.

She was born November 27, 1931 in Kirbyville to Samuel Busby and Melissa (Moore).

She is survived by sons, Howard West and Jane of Old Salem, Horace West of Old Salem; daughter, Joanie Selman and Tom of Lufkin; brothers, Dennis Busby and Hester of Grand Saline, Harold Busby and Virginia of Nederland; sisters, Pauline Perritte of Kirbyville, Sue Hinch of Vidor; grandchildren, William West and Corinna, Desi Johnson and Kelly, Summer Tomlin and Andre, Wade West, Ben West and Rebecca, Nikki Shoemaker and Dustin, Kelli Brightwell and Blake; great grandchildren, Casey Sirmon and Jordan, Hope, Sarah, Patrick, Alainah, Elijah, Temprance, Shia, Stacy, Delilah, Lexi, Asher, Emma, Cora, Jameson; great great grandchildren, Raylan and Jay.

She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Homer West; daughter, Brenda West; grandson, Steven West; great grandsons, Homer and Wyatt West; daughter-in-law, Donna West.
